For nearly twenty years, Steve has helped catalyze revenue growth at numerous nonprofit organizations, in fields ranging from social services and higher education to the environment and legal advocacy. He has held leadership positions with McDaniel College, the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Maryland, strengthening the work of those organizations through high-level fundraising, board development, and strategic planning.

A graduate of Indiana University (Bloomington, IN), Steve has constructed and facilitated leadership and organizational trainings to over 100 nonprofits, including colleges and universities, service groups, and advocacy organizations.  He has developed highly-rated workshops for the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), the Maryland Association of Nonprofit Organizations, and the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) while working closely with a variety of nonprofit boards on issues of leadership and fundraising.

Steve is also a co-founder of MissionSpring™, a fundraising training academy for Baltimore City’s public schools of choice.
